APM provides Disability Employment Services to help people with an injury, illness, or disability find a job with a local Ayr employer.
They can provide workplace modification, assessment, school leaver, and ongoing support services.
Hearing Australia

Monthly visiting service by a qualified practitioner for hearing assessment, device fitting and rehabilitation. Appointments are essential and can be organised by ringing Hearing Australia.
The Burdekin Neighbourhood Centre carries spare batteries for supply to clients between appointments and are available upon presentation of your Hearing Australia card.

Outreach service from Townsville providing sexual assault, crisis and trauma counselling for women 15 years and over. Community education opportunities are available. Visiting service at Burdekin Neighbourhood Centre monthly by appointment.
